I am a real mom at last! I made pancakes for my family on a Saturday morning. Is this some sort of critical rite of passage?

For dinner Sunday night we made Grammy G’s World Famous “Slag Mac.”

We’re not sure about the origin of this name. In my household growing up, this dish was called “Johnny Marzetti” and apparently across Northeastern Ohio it is known as “Johnny Bull.”

Whatever the name, Miss J. LOVES this concoction of ground beef, onions, elbow mac, cheese and spaghetti sauce. She’s had it two nights in a row for dinner.

And then had to be hosed off afterwards.
